Program Overview
Tentative Programme Highlights (12–16 October 2026)
📍 Shanghai & Yangtze River Delta
This exclusive BIOKET Learning Expedition is designed for European decision-makers who want to understand how China is scaling industrial biotechnology across multiple bioeconomy markets — and how to engage concretely.
The expedition will deliver high-level insight, expert access, and immediate business relevance — directly on the ground in China.

China is no longer only a manufacturing hub. It is becoming a global scale-up engine for industrial biotechnology, treating biology as a platform technology across food, chemicals, materials, and consumer markets.
Behind limited international communication, China is deploying a dense network of pilot-scale and demonstration facilities, enabling rapid industrialisation of biotech innovations.
This Learning Expedition gives BIOKET participants direct access to this ecosystem, beyond reports, webinars, and conferences.

Built in the same spirit as BIOKET’s masterclasses, this expedition delivers high-level insight, expert access, and immediate business relevance — directly on the ground in China.
