Le projet BIOCHAR 2021 est un projet de recherche appliquée dont l’objectif est de démontrer la faisabilité technico-économique d’une filière nationale de fabrication d’amendements et de supports de culture à forte valeur agronomique intégrant des biochars, et associant les capacités techniques et de savoir-faire des plateformes de compostage. L’ambition est aussi de renforcer la compétitivité des territoires reposant sur des filières « circuits courts » de valorisation à forte valeur ajoutée de coproduits végétaux endémiques à ces territoires.

The BIOCHAR 2021 project is an applied research project whose objective is to demonstrate the technical and economic feasibility of a national sector for the manufacture of soil improvers and crop supports with high agronomic value incorporating biochars, and combining the technical capacities and know-how of composting platforms. The ambition is also to strengthen the competitiveness of territories based on “short circuit” channels for the high added value valorisation of plant co-products endemic to these territories.
